WHAT IS SONDORS?

According to their website Sondors Electric Bikes started recently in 2015 by Storm Sondors. His goal was to bring quality affordable electric bikes to the masses and he started with one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns in history.

Apparently his work is paying off - as Sondors states they are currently the largest electric bike distributor in the United States and have been sold in 42 countries worldwide. Not bad! Surprisingly though, I haven't seen them in any local shops, have you? Either way, they have no less than 9 different bikes for sale right now.

SONDORS METACYCLE MOTORBIKE

The Metacycle wants to be your affordable good looking cruiser that can make commuting fun. Coming in at around $5k - about the price of a good scooter - that may actually work for most people.

We do think the bike has a very sleek looking frame - making it great to look at. It sort of reminds us of the clean looks from a Husqvarna product. That said, judging by looks only, I'd be a little concerned about how comfortable that seat might be over the long haul? But I'm sure that will be addressed at some point down the road or in the aftermarket.
